“Just returned from a week here with my two kids and I would highly recommend it for families. The hotel is spotless. The room was a good size, beds were comfortable and we had a large balcony which was brilliant for the kids. Food was excellent with plenty of options even for picky eaters. The hotel was fully booked but we could always find sun loungers by the pools. Beach towels are provided with a refundable deposit which super handy. The team were really lovely and the kids’ activities were great. But the highlight for me was the beach, only a three minutes walk away, crystal clear water, shallow, and calm, just perfect. A really lovely week. We’ll be back!”

“My wife and I had a great time staying at Mar Hotel Playa del Mar! We booked one of the suites, which had two rooms and two bathrooms — loads of space and really comfortable. The place was spotless thanks to Miriam from housekeeping, who kept everything super clean every day. The food is buffet style, so it’s not gourmet, but there was always plenty of choice and we never struggled to find something tasty. The all-inclusive deal was definitely worth it — the house wines were nice, and they served proper branded spirits, which was a pleasant surprise. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The entertainment team were great fun and always stopped for a chat to make sure everything was going well. The location’s spot on too — only about a five-minute walk to the beach, and there’s a bus stop just 100m away with direct buses to Alcudia, Palma, and even the airport. All in all, we had a lovely stay in a nice hotel and would happily come back again!”

“Spent 5 nights here on an all-inclusive stay with our 4-year-old son, and we had a wonderful time. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The mattresses were great, although the pillows were a little too narrow for our liking. The room was also equipped with a kettle and an iron, which was very convenient. The food was very good with plenty of choice, and the hotel staff were always friendly, polite, and welcoming, greeting us with a smile every day. The children’s pool was fantastic and provided entertainment for our son all day long.”

“Booked through cycle tour company for participation in Majorca 312, ideal spot at start and finish of race. Friendly staff upon arrival, clean spacious room for two people and plenty space for bikes to be stored outside on balcony including bike cases. Our room/balcony was at rear of hotel and we had a view of the sea between buildings, these rooms get the morning sun. Room service was good on a daily basis. Didn’t use the pool/recreation areas during trip but poolside looked very clean and well kept. Restaurant was nice, not the biggest choices at meal times but food was good, fresh and hot. Staff provided great service during meals, clearing plates and serving wine(house red was perfectly acceptable for evening meal) Hotel provided a very early breakfast time on race day at 0430, with hot and cold food readily available. Great hotel and certainly would return”

“We were very fortunate in that we were re-located (by Love Holidays) to this beautiful hotel.It’s bright,clean,spacious and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed breakfast/lunch and dinner each day,varied menu,freshly cooked and attractively displayed. The staff as I said are lovely but particular thanks to Patricia for her patience and support in dealing with my issues with our flight home,above and beyond her job remit I think! Thoroughly recommend this hotel,thankyou all!”

“We stayed here for 10 nights all inclusive in a junior swim-up room and honestly loved every minute. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day and the whole hotel smelt amazing. The Balinese beds were such a nice touch and included in our package too – perfect for relaxing by the pool. The food was brilliant with so much choice, and we never had any issues finding something to eat or drink. They even did themed nights like Mexican, Indian, Chinese and Mallorcan which kept things interesting. The drinks were great too with loads of options, and the cocktails were nice and strong – not watered down at all! All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location was spot on – right in the centre with plenty of local shops and restaurants around, plus the beach was only about a 5-minute walk away. Only small downside (which isn’t the hotel’s fault) was the mosquitos in the evening – I got about 10 bites in 10 minutes, so definitely pack some insect repellent! Overall, we had an amazing stay and would 100% come back again. Highly recommend!”

“We had a lovely 1-week stay here. The food variety, service and quality was fantastic; the hotel staff always happy and helpful. The hotel is great for families with small kids due to the great toddler pool area with good lay-out, daily optional entertainment (especially in the evening) and very accommodating service and staff! The cleaning service was excellent. The location is also great - away from the main street but still really close to the beach, shopping facilities and cafes/restaurants. The south-west facing balcony views over the S'Albufera park are stunning. The guests were a good mix of families from many different countries. The hotel simply had a really nice, relaxing atmosphere to it with very friendly & welcoming staff!!! We would highly recommend it!”

“Smaller hotel, one "main" pool and, across the road, is the kids pool and entertainment block. Kids pool split into two. One is a shallow water with small slides. One is a deeper pool with three flumes. Adults loved them as much as adults. Entaintainment programme daily. Usual an adult sport at 11am - archery, rifle shooting and darts. Kids programme at 11am - arts & craft, face painting. At 3pm, another adult sport - boules/darts. Win a medal for top marks. The hotel is 5 min walk to beach (beach is so sandy and clear). 5 min to nature reserve entrance. 5 mins to main shopping strip. Kids entertainment 8.30 nightly. Kudos to the entertainment team. 35/45 mins of kid entertainment before the main show. Staff amazing. Friendly and professional. We had a great week.”
